The
cookbooks we love
Over the years we found cookbooks that (1) really work, (2) we love,
(3) both. Here are our picks of the best...
Joyce Goldstein's, Mediterranean: The Beautiful Cookbook. The
one complaint about this book is its coffee table size is very hard to use
in the kitchen.
Joyce Goldstein's, Taverna. Almost everything in this book is
repeated over and over. We especially love the Lamb Pizza.
Jamie Oliver, The Naked Chef. Whoever said the Brits can't cook
doesn't know Jamie.
Cecilia Norman, The Book of Grilling & Barbecuing. The Brits
barbecue too? This one breaks all conventions.
Mario Batali, The Babbo Cookbook. Anything Mario writes we buy
for our kitchen bookshelf.
Martha Hopkins and Randall Lockridge, Inter Courses: an aphrodisiac
cookbook. As much fun reading as eating and .... (well you'll
see).
Jeffrey Alford & Naomi Duguid, Seductions of Rice. Jeff and
Naomi traveled the whole world to bring you this encyclopedia of rice
recipes.
